Get the best sound possible by eliminating interference caused by your car’s electrical system. Our Noise-Reducing Cable eliminates the noise, leaving nothing but the funk. We’ve designed an inline dual-element noise filter and built it into our 6-foot auxiliary audio cable. 1/8”/3.5mm stereo-mini jacks connect your player to your car stereo’s Aux-In port. Kill the hum and hear your music clean and electrical interference-free. Removes the hum that comes from playing your iPod, iPhone or MP3 player in cars with improperly grounded electrical systems.
Does indeed eliminate buzz & static. Nice feel. 5 out of 5
The annoying buzz and static is now gone when I use this cable to plug my original iPhone into my Honda Element's stereo. For that reason alone, it is well worth the price.
The cable and plugs are heavy, pliable, with a good substantial feel. The knobby chunk that kills the distortion is rather large and a bit heavy. Fortunately it sits near one end of the cable, so it rests on the car dash tray of the Element.
Highly recommended. Wish I'd bought this originally rather the other 3 plain cables I tried.
Works Great 5 out of 5
Does one thing and does it well. If you want to listen to audio from your iPod, laptop, etc in your vehicle, this cord will stop the whining and buzzing noise from your engine. I have tested this in 3 different vehicles with a Toughbook, Macbook and G1. All 3 vehicles have an AUX jack that allows me to plug in this audio cord from the headphone jack on my device and plug the other end into the AUX jack and hear the audio through my vehicle's sound system. Works well while the laptop is plugged into an inverter that charges it. This is a HUGE difference. Without this cord, the audio was unlistenable while the inverter was charging the laptop. Also works with your phone or music/video player if you are charging it through your laptop's USB plug.
IS NOT EFFECTIVE ON DEVICES THAT ARE USING A "TUNE IN" FEATURE WHERE YOU TUNE IN AN UNUSED FREQUENCY ON YOUR RADIO DIAL!!!
*DOES* WORK IF YOU ARE PLUGGING IN YOUR DEVICE DIRECTLY TO YOUR NEWER VEHICLE'S 3.5mm AUX JACK ON YOUR DASHBOARD.
Works like a charm! 5 out of 5
It's amazing to me that something so small and simple can have such a huge impact on something else.
I wanted to connect my computer audio out to my Bose system throughout my home. It was easy enough to do, but oh the hiss and hum I heard drove me crazy!
I plugged the Griffin noise reducing cable into my comupter audio out, then plugged the line going to my music system into the other end of the Griffin cable and PRESTO!!!!
No line hiss! No line hum! Just the PERFECTLY clear sound of the music library on my computer now heard throughout the house!
Noise Filter 5 out of 5
It works great. I have a terrible problem with ground loop noise in my car (a Mazda CX-9) and this filter eliminates it all without sacrificing the sound of the music.
Clear as a bell... 5 out of 5
My 4G IPod runs out of charge so quickly in the car that I wanted to be able to charge it while playing it. My car has a separate AUX connection so I purchased this to get rid of the awful noise if I have the charger connected while playing it. It works great, clear as it was with the IPod AUX connector. I only wish the rubber housing around one of the connectors was narrower as it hits the charger IPod connector so the charger isn't always completely in the port. The IPod ports are very close together. But this cable does what it is supposed to!
