I was unsure of the smell when I bought these since there were no reviews. I have always trusted the Bounce name and have tried other scents in the past. I am so glad I decided to order these without knowing what they smelled like. They came wrapped in plastic so when you open the box you do not have to worry about the scent being exposed to other items or losing the scent in transit. The scent is very fresh and not heavy at all. I do not like my laundry to smell like flowers but rather have a refreshing scent to them. Also each sheet I have used has made all the laundry static free. One thing I like to do is after washing bedding and placing it in a garment bag stick a fabric softener sheet in there until I use the bedding again. I did so with these and after having a bedding set stored in a bag for a few months I placed the bedding on the bag and it smelled so fresh! A lot of times you will have to rewash the bedding to get a fresh scent but not if you store a sheet with it when storing. I was so please I bought a second set for when I run out. I think these will be the sheets I use from now one. Very fresh and clean!
